Description
In my younger days I played hockey for Pillans Point Primary school, Otumoetai Intermediate, and Otumoetai College. I carried on playing Business House hockey for a club for a couple of years after I finished school, and in the off-season I played summer hockey for another team.
Although I may be a bit rusty now, I have played canoe polo and represented Otumoetai College at several nationals between 1995 and 1999.
I also used to windsurf, but I traded in my windsurfer for something more exciting... kitesurfing :) But the problem lately is having time to get out there... maybe one day soon (I hope!). If anyone can recommend some good spots in Auckland, let me know.
Coming from Tauranga, I naturally love the beach and swimming, so I can't wait for summer...and the warm weather!
I'm also a bit of a motorsport fan - in particular the V8 Supercars, and the WRC. And btw, I'm a Holden fan through and through :)
