Description
Tennis Southland Incorporated is a non-profit regional sporting organization that provides and promotes opportunities for positive tennis experiences for Southlanders (including Queenstown and Wanaka) at all levels. We have 36 clubs affiliated to one of 6 sub associations who are in turn affiliated to Tennis Southland.
Tennis Southland is situated in SBS Sports House, which is part of the ILT Velodrome at Stadium Southland.
There are many courts in the Southland area available for use, both club and school based. The ILT velodrome houses 4 rebound ace tennis courts whilst Stadium Southland has 4 courts which were laid in syn-pave in January 2007.
Tennis Southland employs a full time coach, and during the season, six development offices who work alongside the sub associations to promote tennis in all the regions.
Tennis Southland runs a comprehensive coaching programme that includes coaching in Stadium Southland, in schools and at clubs throughout the Southland region.
