Tennis Manawatu is an inclusive sport which benefits EVERYONE.
WHAT'S AVAILABLE?
Opportunities to get involved and play tennis are many and varied depending on age, ability and commitment level. Options are now available to play ALL YEAR and include:
Interclub
Business House Competitions
School Competitions
In schools coaching programme
Mid week ladies leagues
Saturday social grades
Clubs
Elite and Winter leagues
Tournaments: Junior and Senior
Representative Competitions for Juniors and Seniors
CLUBS
Most clubs have open days throughout September / October each year. The official competitive tennis season starts from October. Check out he Tennis Manawatu website for the latest club details.
WHAT'S INTERCLUB?
Interclub is an organised club competition that enables players of all abilities and ages to compete against similarly aged and graded players from other clubs around the Manawatu region. Interclub caters for players from Senior Manawatu Representative player ability through to an eight year old junior player playing interclub tennis for the first time and EVERYONE in between!
Interclub teams are generally confirmed by clubs by mid-September, so to make sure you don't miss out, contact a club prior to this time. Junior and Senior grades begin 27 October 2007.

TEACHERS, take the hassle out of your Physical Education programme by inviting Tennis Manawatu to introduce your students to tennis.
WHAT'S SCHOOL COMPETITIONS?
Tennis Manawatu run school level competitions during the week for Secondary schools on Wednesdays during Term 1 and Term 4.
