Description

Northern Districts Cricket, or as we know NDCricket, covers an extensive area from the Far North and to the south Taumarunui and Poverty Bay/Wairoa. It excludes Auckland City from Manukau to Orewa.

While NDCricket was established in 1953 it was in 1957 that a team representing the region played its first first-class match against Auckland at Seddon Park (see our History), resulting in a win to Northern Districts.

NDCricket is involved at many levels within its boundaries: 6 Districts, 532 Club & Business House Teams, 710 Secondary & Primary School Teams.
