Description
The advent of the jetboat has given thousands of New Zealanders the opportunity to explore the remote waterways and scenic beauty of this country.
NZJBA Inc was established in 1962 and renamed as Jetboating New Zealand in 2002. The association has nine branches covering New Zealand and with over 2000 members it represents about a third of NZ's jetboaters. The associations objectives have always been:
*to control jetboating on a national basis
*to protect the rights of jetboaters
* to encourage jet boating generally, and with it the welfare and development of the Association to work in harmony with other water users.
